This was the first official release by Jaylib – Madlib and J Dilla. The single contains "The Red" (original version – vocal, radio edit, instrumental) b/w "The Official" (vocal, radio edit, instrumental).
This 12-inch single is now out of print.
The cover is black on one side, red on the other, with letters in spot-gloss. The design shown here is the 2003 release, which went out of print circa 2006.
A second sleeve was printed in late 2006, a similar black & red design, with the "Jaylib" stencil on both sides. This 2006 edition was printed in small quantity, but never released.
